The Plug Swivel Adaptor project aimed to create a specialized adaptor facilitating effortless alignment between HV plugs and fixed couplers. Various design iterations were explored, and prototypes were meticulously developed, manufactured, and tested for each variant. Employing Autodesk Inventor Software, the design and engineering process ensured precision and efficiency.

Constructed from high-quality stainless steel 316 and finely machined, the prototypes underwent rigorous inspections, including weld assessments, comprehensive pressure tests, and complete assembly. Additionally, an external certification, IP56, validated the prototype’s resilience. The resulting final design boasts a compact, sturdy, and highly functional build, detailed further in the PSA Flyer.
