The goal was to design a compact, robust, and safe adaptor that would allow precise and effortless alignment of HV plugs and couplers, improving efficiency and reducing operator risks.
Design & Testing:
Autodesk Inventor was used to model, simulate, and optimize the design.
Prototypes were manufactured from 316 stainless steel and underwent weld inspections, pressure testing, and operational checks.
An IP56 certification confirmed the adaptor’s resistance to dust and water.
