Task: Design potable, raw, water and fire systems
The project initially focused on assessing pumps but expanded into a comprehensive engineering endeavour encompassing multiple process systems. Given the absence of a detailed project specification, there was a need to ascertain and articulate the client’s requirements, including instantaneous flow needs, adherence to standards, storage necessities, and more.
Tasks involved:
- Developing P&IDs
- Sizing process plants and piping
- Developing equipment specifications
- Sourcing, selecting, and reviewing tenders for process equipment
- Conducting 3D modelling
- Generating detailed drawings
- Developing manufacturing specifications, reviewing tenders, and addressing technical queries.
Engineering & Design:
The design and engineering of the enclosure utilized Autodesk AutoCAD and Inventor Software, undergoing numerous reviews and enhancements before reaching a finalized, comprehensive stage. Despite stringent time and budget constraints, the design and procurement phases were successfully managed.
The entire design was delivered within the allocated budget to the client’s satisfaction.
